From 22 to 25 September, Elhurt EMS was in Utrecht for World of Industry, Technology & Science (WoTS) 2026. We exhibited in the World of Electronics section, which together with World of Industry and World of Laboratory made up this year’s event.
Thousands of visitors came to Jaarbeurs Utrecht, while WoTS brought together more than 430 companies. For us, these were first and foremost four days of meetings at our booth, new contacts and conversations about electronics projects and planned production.
AI and embedded software had a strong presence in the programme. Dedicated sessions covered the use of embedded AI in machines and devices as well as the development of embedded software.
The future of the European electronics industry also received considerable attention. The programme included discussions about the position of European manufacturers, technological development and changes taking place in the market.
On the exhibition floor, these topics could be seen from a more practical perspective. One of the attractions at World of Electronics was the EMI Sniffer, developed by EVAbits in cooperation with exhibitors. Visitors collected components from different booths to build their own device for detecting electromagnetic interference.
During WoTS, we also learned the winners of this year’s High Tech Trophy. In the World of Electronics category, visitors voted Wockel Connect by Vention Technologies as the winner.
The solution makes it possible to connect existing electronics to the internet without the need for major changes to hardware and software. The awards were presented on 24 September, during the third day of the event.
For us, the most important part of WoTS was the meetings. At our booth, we talked with companies about new projects, electronics manufacturing and their plans for the coming months.
Some of these conversations will continue after the trade show. And that is what we are bringing back from Utrecht – new contacts, topics to follow up on and very good memories of four days at World of Electronics.
Thank you to everyone who visited the Elhurt EMS booth during WoTS 2026!
