The year 2025 marks a significant milestone in the history of Grupa Elhurt, as the company celebrates its 35th anniversary. This special occasion inspired a broader reflection on the company’s role in the community. Instead of focusing solely on internal celebrations, the team chose to use this time to take action that would bring real value to others. As part of a special anniversary program, Grupa Elhurt launched two important charitable initiatives — both selected directly by employees.
The first initiative focused on providing material support to the “Promyk” Animal Shelter in Gdańsk. Employees unanimously agreed that the wellbeing of abandoned and vulnerable animals deserves special attention.
With a budget of approximately PLN 17,500, the following items were donated:
The donations were personally delivered during a visit by company representatives. Meeting the shelter’s team and seeing their day-to-day challenges firsthand gave employees a deeper appreciation for the shelter’s work. The experience was moving and unifying, reinforcing the belief that even simple acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.
Following the successful delivery of the first initiative, Grupa Elhurt began preparing for the second phase of its anniversary program. This time, the focus turns to the Pomorze Dzieciom Hospice — an organization that provides palliative care to children and emotional support to their families during the most challenging times.
Another PLN 17,500 has been allocated to support the hospice’s daily operations. The goal is to help maintain a safe, peaceful environment where children and families receive the comfort and care they need. In such sensitive circumstances, every contribution matters deeply.
This initiative will culminate in Grupa Elhurt’s participation in the 8th Angel’s Run, scheduled for December 20, 2025. A team of employees will complete a five-kilometer run, symbolizing unity, compassion, and collective purpose. It’s more than a race — it’s a meaningful act of solidarity that brings people together around a shared goal of doing good.
